Training Structure

The Level 1 training in the IFS model, mentioned extensively in Bessel van der Kolk’s book "The Body Keeps the Score", combines an in-depth teaching of the model's theoretical background, the development of unique therapy skills, and a focus on the awareness of the therapist's and client’s parts.

In recent years all IFS trainings have been conducted online through Zoom, over 84 training hours, through 14 full days. The training group is an intimate closed group of participants.

Level 1 and Level 2 trainings are led by Osnat Arbel, PhD., and Einat Avni Bronstein, MCSW, the founders of the Israeli Institute for IFS. Both are International Senior Lead Trainers certified by the IFS Institute. The training days are supported by a professional team of Program Assistants, highly skilled in IFS therapy, who enable participants to practice in small groups with close guidance.

The curriculum is the official IFS-I program and the trainings are recognized by the organization and by its founder, Dr. Richard Schwartz. Graduates will be sent official digital Certificates of Completion signed by the IFS Institute.

Who is the training for?

The work in the IFS model is suitable for psychotherapists, psychologists, couples and family therapists, social workers, doctors, psychiatrists, educational, organizational and occupational counselors, group facilitators, and therapists in art, movement, psychodrama, guided imagery, mind-body therapists, and more. The model is effective in working with all ages. Preference will be given to those with an academic background in the fields of psychotherapy.

The current course price is $3900 (including all fees fees). The cost for Israel’s residents is considerably reduced and paid in ILS
